Prior to founding Hay Hill Wealth Management, Nathalie was the founder and CEO of Signia Wealth until 2014, and previously a Senior Client Partner at Coutts & Co leading the international proposition for clients with foreign domicile in the Coutts Private Office. She started her career at Lazard & Co in Merger and Acquisition in London as an analyst. Nathalie is also on the board and an owner of Mr Lee’s Noodles and runs 5 family vineyards.
In 2008 and 2009 she was elected one of the 40 Rising Stars by the European Wealth Management Bulletin. In 2010 she was named in the Financial News 100 Rising Stars and won the Spears award for the Future Leader in the Wealth Management industry. Nathalie was formerly a Co-Chair of the Mayfair chapter of YPO (Young Presidents Organisation), an invitation only membership which connects young Chief Executives in a global network.
Born in Saint-Emilion in France, Nathalie holds a Diploma in Management Studies from Cambridge University and is still actively involved in running her family’s vineyards in Saint-Emilion, Pomerol (France) and South Africa. She is also a proud mother of 4 amazing children.
Michael is a founding member and serves as Chief Executive and Chief Operating Offer of Hay Hill Wealth Management. Michael performed a key role in the 2015 buy-out of fixed income manager Glendevon King, leading the firm’s transition into the current multi-asset structure of Hay Hill Wealth Management. Michael oversees all Hay Hill Wealth operations and business activities whilst also maintaining an active role in client relationships. He has over 19 years of experience in private banking and wealth management, having previously spent 5 years at wealth management boutique Signia Wealth, where he was a member of the Executive Committee and served as a Client Director specialising in European UK resident non-domiciled UHNW clients in addition to heading the firm’s £400m liquidity management proposition. Prior to Signia, Michael held multiple front office and relationship manager roles with London based private bank Coutts & Co, including heading the offshore banking business for the Coutts Private Office. Michael holds the Investment Advice Diploma and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Stephen joined Hay Hill Wealth Wealth Management in June 2016 as Chief Investment Officer. He has over thirty years of portfolio management experience, having previously held roles at Peterhouse Asset Management, Prudential-Bache and Northern Trust, where as Head of International Equities, he was responsible for the management of Northern’s International Growth Equity Fund, a $1bn US mutual fund. Stephen also has extensive experience in the management of multi-asset class portfolios, and during his previous roles as CIO has been responsible for investment teams managing assets for a wide variety of clients in a number of different jurisdictions. Stephen holds an MA in Economics with International Studies from the University of St Andrews and is a member of the CFA Institute (AIMR).
Prior to joining Hay Hill Wealth Management in early 2015 as Head of Wealth Structuring, Martin was a founding member and Head of Wealth Structuring at Signia Wealth. Having originally trained as a lawyer and worked at Grant Thornton advising international families on their wealth structuring and planning needs, Martin held the role of Senior Private Banker for the Coutts Private Office before establishing Signia Wealth alongside Nathalie. Martin is a Chartered Tax Advisor, and works with clients and their advisers to ensure investments are tax optimised, and family wealth is protected and passed on as intended.
Charles has over ten years of investment management experience, having started his career at Brown Shipley working in a team managing discretionary and advisory mandates for individuals, charities and intermediaries. He then joined Brewin Dolphin in 2010, where he managed multi-asset portfolios for private individuals, charities and intermediaries. Charles also has experience in venture capital, having worked at Fig, where he supported high-growth companies through their early development and the process of securing investment. Charles holds the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Diploma and is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.
