Michael is a founding member and serves as Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer of Hay Hill Wealth Management. Michael performed a key role in the 2015 buy-out of fixed income manager Glendevon King, leading the firm’s transition into the current multi-asset structure of Hay Hill Wealth Management. Michael oversees all Hay Hill Wealth operations and business activities whilst also maintaining an active role in client relationships. He has over 20 years of experience in private banking and wealth management, having previously spent 5 years at wealth management boutique Signia Wealth, where he was a member of the Executive Committee and served as a Client Director specialising in European UK resident non-domiciled UHNW clients in addition to heading the firm’s £400m liquidity management proposition. Prior to Signia, Michael held multiple front office and relationship manager roles with London based private bank Coutts & Co, including heading the offshore banking business for the Coutts Private Office. Michael holds the Investment Advice Diploma and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. 


Stephen joined Hay Hill Wealth Management in June 2016 as Chief Investment Officer. He has over 40 years of portfolio management experience, having previously held roles at Matheson Investment Management, Prudential-Bache and Northern Trust, where as Head of International Equities, he was responsible for the management of Northern’s International Growth Equity Fund, a $1bn US mutual fund. Stephen also has extensive experience in the management of multi-asset class portfolios, and during his previous roles as CIO has been responsible for investment teams managing assets for a wide variety of clients in a number of different jurisdictions. Stephen holds an MA in Economics with International Studies from the University of St Andrews and is a member of the CFA Institute (AIMR).


Kieran is a Client Director based in Birmingham and has over 11 years' experience as a financial professional. Firstly, qualifying as a banker at RBS Corporate Bank before transitioning into wealth management with Coutts. Most recently Kieran was a Client Advisor at UBS advising a diverse HNW client base including entrepreneurs, professionals, and institutions.  Kieran graduated from the University of Birmingham with an LLB Law with Business degree. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI and holds the Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM), the Investment Advice Diploma and Certificate in Advanced Financial Planning. As well as being a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) / European Financial Advisor (EFA) with the Irish Institute of Banking.


Martin originally joined Hay Hill Wealth Management in early 2015, before moving to North Carolina with his family in 2018. Although US based, Martin has maintained an active involvement with Hay Hill Wealth as a consultant, ensuring investments are tax optimised, and family wealth is protected and passed on as intended. Martin is a Chartered Tax Advisor and a full-time member of Hay Hill Wealth’s Investment Committee. In his earlier career, Martin trained as a lawyer and worked at Grant Thornton advising international families on their wealth structuring and planning needs. He also held the role of Senior Private Banker for the Coutts Private Office prior to serving as Head of Wealth Structuring at Signia Wealth. 



Charles has over 15 years of investment management experience, having started his career at Brown Shipley working in a team managing discretionary and advisory mandates for individuals, charities and intermediaries. He then joined Brewin Dolphin in 2010, where he managed multi-asset portfolios for private individuals, charities and intermediaries. Charles also has experience in venture capital, having worked at Fig, where he supported high-growth companies through their early development and the process of securing investment. Charles holds the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Diploma and is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.



Miranda joined Hay Hill Wealth Management in February 2022 as Senior Private Client Administrator, having previously spent four years as an Assistant Private Banker at Société Générale in London. In this role, Miranda provided client relationship support to a portfolio of high net worth private clients. Earlier in her career, Miranda spent four years at Lloyds Banking Group before moving into Operational and Client Services roles at two UK based Fintech start-ups. Miranda brings a depth of experience in operations and client service and acts as a pillar to strengthen and maintain contact with new and existing client relationships at Hay Hill Wealth.


Kelly Degruttola joined Hay Hill Wealth Management in early 2015 as an Executive Assistant. Kelly oversees diary management, events planning and logistics whilst ensuring the day to day running of the office. Prior to joining Hay Hill, Kelly worked as an Executive Assistant at Signia Wealth Limited which she joined in 2010.
